The Skills Network are currently working in partnership with CONNEXIONS around the country to offer young people the opportunity to participate in a training project to develop employability skills.
These three week courses focus on providing young unemployed individuals with confidence and presentation skills in order to increase the chances of being successful at forthcoming interviews.
As part of the course, each young person will gather evidence and take part in activities to achieve the NCFE Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate in Employability Skills. At 13 credits and 78 GLH, this short course is managed and delivered by The Skills Network as part of a sub contract arrangement with regional colleges.

On successful completion of the course, each learner will be signposted to a full time college course or continue to work with The Skills Network to secure an Apprenticeship with a local employer in a sector of their choice.
