Apprenticeships
The Skills Network provides sub-contracted delivery services with a number of leading colleges to maximise on 16-18 and 19-24 Apprenticeship funding opportunities. Our experienced and highly qualified assessor team offers a wide range of frameworks in areas such as Childcare, Retail, Hospitality and Catering, Business Administration, Health and Social Care and Warehousing and Storage.
Our Apprenticeship team engage with employers in the following ways:
Creating employment
- Employers are contacted to determine if they are able to offer a young person the chance of an Apprenticeship
- Working in partnership with Connexions and the National Apprenticeship Service we advertise local vacancies for candidates wishing to become an Apprentice
- Our team support the candidate from application through to interview
- Successful candidates then commence a framework of their choice
Training at work
Over the last few years we have built strong relationships with employers across the UK delivering a wide range of training programmes. A key focus of our services to business is the promotion and development of an integrated Apprenticeship strategy for young people already in employment.
- Contact employers to identify young people already in employment
- Visit the employer to complete an organisation needs analysis
- Identify eligible employees for placement onto a framework relevant to their current employment role
