The following instructions are for Internet Explorer 8 on the MS Windows platform but a similar feature will be present on most browsers including Safari and Firefox.
Launch your browser and then go to 'View' then 'Text size' on the top menu bar. Try selecting a 'Medium' setting to start with and test the results by viewing the web site.
